Based on the medical information provided by the patient and the proposed treatment plan by the doctors of our respective medical departments, International Affairs will prepare a cost estimate. The amount of this cost estimate needs to be paid in advance to the hospitals account via bank transfer or credit card.
Please note: the cost estimate is calculated on the basis of information/documents provided by the patient. This means, treatment plans are done without having seen the patient personally. The actual status of the patient will be examined, after the patient has been arrived at the DRK Kliniken Berlin. This might change the treatment plan and thus the cost estimate.
After finalizing the treatment/diagnostics, International Affairs will prepare the final invoice within 4 weeks after discharge and compare the prepayment with the actual invoice. Remaining amounts will be reimbursed to the patient by bank transfer or asked to be paid to the hospital.
