In close cooperation with the outpatient and hospital colleagues, we provide highly specialized diagnostic services in the areas of

• conventional radiography in a fully digitized engineering
• ultrasound / color duplex
• computed tomography
• magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
• mammography and breast imaging (Breast Centre)
• angiography and interventional radiology, including pain management

The Department of Radiology has for years worked full-digital with RIS - HIS - PACS paperless and filmless.
If necessary, X-ray films and CD's of off-site facilities can be read in our picture archiving system, and even CD's are created for further treatment.

Within our hospital group, the Departments for Radiology can exchange pictures between each other. All radiodiagnostic devices meet the latest statutory requirements on safety and radiation protection. They are monitored regularly officially and internally (medical X-ray body the General Medical Council and TUV). In this department you can expect a highly motivated and specialized team of medical doctors, assistants, radiology assistants and radiographers (MTAR) and medical specialists.
