The Eye Department in our Hospital Group offers a unique opportunity for in and out patients to receive their diagnosis and treatments for all known eye diseases and disorders.

Our out-patient centre majors in cataract surgery, and the in-patients receive retinal, glaucoma and corneal transplant surgery. Dr. Klaus - Martin Kreusel, University Lecturer, heads this department and oversees diagnostic method and choice of surgery. Modern technology and fully equipped theatres, with a highly motivated and experienced staff compliment this team. Dr. Kreusel´s special interest is the posterior eye segment with it's diseases and disorders in particular diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration and the entire spectrum of retinal procedures, vitrectomy, and macular surgery in combination with cataract surgery. Furthermore, the plastic reconstructive and aesthetic lid surgery, tumor surgery and cataract and refractive surgery belong to the wide range of services of the Eye Centre.
