This specialized center provides contemporary diagnostics and treatment of seizure disorders - from newborns up to adulthood. Traditionally, in the Department for Paediatric and Adolescent Medicine we focus on paediatric epileptology.
We hold all modern diagnostic and therapeutic methods, particularly in the multi-disciplinary collaboration with the Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, Department of Paediatric and Adolescent Psychiatry, Laboratory Medicine and Human Genetics.
The Epilepsy Centre is a national center for disease detection, treatment and care of infants, children and young people with all forms of epilepsy, according to the German Society for Epileptology (DGE). The Center at the DRK Kliniken Berlin | Westend has been certified on 22 May 2009 by the Society for Epileptology.
