1. First contact our medical department via email, internet, phone or fax, requesting for a special treatment at the DRK Kliniken Berlin (your medical information is needed)
   In order to prepare a cost estimate for you, please send us a referral letter from your physician who has been attending to your medical condition.
   
   
   • This letter should include the following information
   • your name
   • your date of birth
   • detailed description of your medical condition which requires attention
   • your medical history
   • types of medication which you are taking
   • relevant medical records (incl. x-ray, MRI, CT etc.)
   • your choice of elective services:
     • treatment by head of department
     • single/double room
     • airport transfer
2. Our specialists will then evaluate your medical reports and images and development your individual treatment plan
3. International Affairs will then calculate the approximate costs for your treatment and send you the cost estimate
4. Your consent is required for further proceedings.
5. Before the treatment can start we ask you for advance payment of the amount in the cost estimate or for approval by your insurance.
6. We will then schedule an appointment for your treatment and help you in visa matters as well in organizational matters such as airport transfer, hotel reservation for family members, translator etc.
